Requirements:

Educational Requirements:


1. Pre-University Qualification:

A strong foundation in science, often including biology, chemistry, and mathematics, is crucial. This can be achieved through pre-university programs like A-Levels or a Foundation in Science.


2. Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Science:

You'll need to pursue a degree in Veterinary Science from an accredited university. In Malaysia, this typically involves courses in animal anatomy, biochemistry, diseases, nutrition, and surgery, along with practical training.


3. Licensure and Registration:

After graduation, you must register with the Malaysian Veterinary Council (MVC) and obtain an Annual Practicing Certificate to legally practice as a veterinarian in Malaysia.
